About ResumeForge AI
I know what it feels like to be unseen.
I'm an employment and job consultant from Melbourne, and I built ResumeForge AI for the person I used to be.
My story
Before I ever helped anyone find work, I spent years unemployed myself. I know the quiet weight of it — refreshing job boards late at night, sending application after application, and hearing nothing back. Not even a "no". Just silence. After a while you stop wondering what's wrong with your resume and start wondering what's wrong with you.
There were mornings it was hard to get out of bed, and evenings I'd rewrite the same resume for the tenth time hoping this version would finally be the one. I didn't have money for professional resume writers or monthly subscriptions. I had determination, a laptop, and a lot of rejection emails.
Eventually I found my way into employment services and worked as a consultant with Workforce Australia. Sitting on the other side of the desk changed everything. I've personally uploaded thousands of resumes into job systems for people from every walk of life — school leavers, parents returning to work, migrants starting over, people in their fifties told they were "overqualified", people who had simply been knocked down one too many times.
And I saw the pattern. Talented, hardworking people were being filtered out by applicant tracking systems before a human ever read their name. Not because they couldn't do the job, but because of a table in the wrong place, a missing keyword, or a heading the software couldn't read. It broke my heart, because I knew it had happened to me too.
With my background in marketing psychology, I also learned the other half of the puzzle: once a resume does reach a person, it has seconds to be noticed. Layout, order and wording all shape whether a recruiter leans in or moves on. Getting past the machine and then capturing the human — that's what a resume really has to do.
ResumeForge AI is everything I wish someone had handed me during those years. I wanted to help people — genuinely help — and keep the cost as low as possible, because the people who need a good resume most are often the ones who can least afford one.
If you're reading this from a hard place right now: your next job is not a reflection of your worth, and you're closer than you think. Let's get your story seen.
